Job Description

We are looking for a strategic leader with extensive experience in technology and data management. As Director, Active Equities, Public Markets Technology, you will develop and execute the strategic direction and execution of technology and data initiatives within the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building a high-performing team with appropriate competencies to deliver services that meet business expectations.
  • Leading agile software delivery and providing technical oversight and guidance.
  • Driving engineering excellence within your team, focusing on continuously improving Product Craftsmanship, Product Reliability, Product Experience, and Team Experience.
  • Helping develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for technology and data initiatives, aligning them with the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Cultivating strategic partnerships with technology vendors, service providers, and industry organizations to stay informed about emerging technologies and trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An undergraduate degree or college diploma in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science).
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in technology and data management positions, with a proven track record of leadership in driving technology and data initiatives.
  • A demonstrated ability to inclusively lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team of professionals.
  • Extensive experience in managing technology and data projects and programs, from planning and execution to monitoring and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 per year

Our total compensation package includes a base salary, bonus, and benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
