We are seeking a reliable and skilled Painter Helper to join our team at Sekhon Painting Ltd. As a Painter Helper, you will assist our experienced painters in various tasks related to painting and decorating.
Key Responsibilities:- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
- Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes.
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
- Fill cavities, joints, and holes with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
- Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
- Ability to work at heights and in dusty environments.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience an asset, but not required.
Our team works in various locations, and relocation costs are covered by the employer. We offer a permanent position with 30-40 hours of work per week.Language:
