Sekhon Painting Ltd is seeking a skilled Painter Helper to join our team. As a Painter Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced painters with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, cleaning up chemical spills, and preparing surfaces for painting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove litter and garbage
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes
  • Fill cavities
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
