Job Summary

Masons Edge is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces. This includes filling hollows, removing spots, and imparting the desired finish using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a dusty and noisy environment
  • Physical stamina to work at heights and on scaffolding
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
