Job Title: Concrete Finisher

At BESTWAY CONCRETE CONTRACTORS, we are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete and level the top surface according to grade and depth specifications
  • Imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty environments, and in cold/refrigerated conditions
  • Physical demands of the job include handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and sound discrimination are essential
  • Must be bondable and have a valid work permit
Work Environment:

Our team works in a variety of settings, including commercial, institutional, and residential projects. You will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions and may be exposed to hazardous materials.
