Ship Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Ship Mechanic to join our team at Océan. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of mechanical systems, equipment, and piping on our vessels.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Install and repair mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and piping;
- Use lifting equipment and perform disassembly and reassembly of machines and equipment;
- Perform preventive inspections and routine maintenance tasks;
- Collaborate with the Foreman to ensure timely completion of projects;
- Participate in the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma in mechanics, plumbing, or a related field;
- Knowledge of diesel mechanics and experience in ship mechanics (an asset);
- Valid driver's license and good manual skills;
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors;
- Flexibility to travel outside the city and province of Quebec.
