Project Contract Administrator

About the Role

GHD Advisory is seeking a highly skilled Project Contract Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for providing contract risk and controls support, as well as project administration support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support both our client (prime contractor) and GHD with contract risks
  • Develop and process change orders for GHD and other subcontractors
  • Manage cost and schedule exposure
  • Monthly reporting, root cause, and variance analysis
  • Preparation of and maintenance of risk registers
  • Leading or assisting with risk workshops and meetings
  • Overall project documentation assistance, including writing technical reports associated with project progress
  • Managing lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Experience with site investigation, remediation, and remedial construction is an asset but not required
  • Excellent organizational skills and Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Be organized and assist project managers with achieving goals
  • Demonstrate the ability and drive to be proactive and take ownership of the task
  • Willingness to travel to the site in Port Hope approximately 10 percent of the time
