Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Testing Architect, you will collaborate with Software Architects, Developers, and Quality Assurance Specialists to create and sustain automated testing frameworks that adhere to the highest standards of product excellence. Your contributions will be vital in developing applications that manage energy generation and distribution effectively.

  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of systems and applications to optimize testing quality and coverage.
  • Establish the strategy for manual and automated testing for various features, while researching and implementing tools that enhance velocity and quality.
  • Deliver testing solutions in alignment with enterprise standards and operational guidelines.
  • Engage with the Scrum team to refine user stories and establish acceptance criteria, ensuring quality assurance for significant project milestones.
  • Define and improve team processes, ensuring they are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • Design the architecture for automated testing frameworks and oversee the quality of related test code.
  • Monitor goals and present updates during sprint meetings, ensuring technical alignment across the team.
  • Ensure the stability of nightly deployment pipelines.
  • Create automated testing and reporting solutions to track metrics effectively.
  • Communicate ideas clearly and concisely to various stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in developing testing solutions for embedded software or server applications.
  • Proven expertise in software development using Python, Golang, or React JS.
  • Familiarity with developer tools and IDEs, such as Eclipse and Git.
  • Experience in testing containerized applications and platform-agnostic solutions.
  • Proficient in API test automation (SOAP/REST services) utilizing tools like Postman.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks or tools such as Selenium.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to drive change effectively.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working within Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience in developing testing solutions for embedded software or server applications.
  • Familiarity with electrical industry communication protocols, such as DNP3, IEC61850, MODBUS, etc.
  • Proficient in testing applications on Linux platforms.
  • Experience in integrated system testing involving server-deployed applications that interact with network devices.
  • Experience in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins for executing automated tests.
  • Demonstrated experience with container runtime and orchestration platforms.
  • Knowledgeable in the administration of virtual machines.

Other Criteria:
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
