Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at Tyco. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software operating systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development process from inception to completion of software projects
  • Oversee and participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality software
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
  • Develop and implement test strategies, devices, and systems to ensure software reliability
  • Design, write code, complete programming, and perform testing/debugging of PC software applications
  • Develop methods, metrics, techniques, and evaluation criteria for products, processes, and staff
Requirements
  • University degree with 5 years of related experience or a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a high school diploma or relevant certificate in computer engineering or computer science
  • Windows and networked system software development experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in web programming
  • Minimum of 2 years' in-depth use of MS Visual Studio
  • Knowledge of C# and.NET programming
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Strong coding skills in C++, C#
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming techniques and languages
  • Design specifications, test plans, and structured design principles
  • In-depth understanding of software analysis and design techniques
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with detail as well as with general assignments
  • In-depth understanding of wired and wireless communications protocols, networking protocols
  • A professional, results-oriented individual with a high degree of self-motivation
