Job Title: Senior Cyber Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Software Developer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software operating systems, including development and/or diagnostic software.
  • Participate in the development of test strategies, devices, and systems.
  • Responsible for the entire development process from inception to completion of a project.
  • Provide feedback on junior staff during performance reviews.
  • Provide technical guidance for junior staff.
  • Prepare and lead the development of technical feasibilities to finalize project schedules.
  • Design, write code, complete programming, and perform testing/debugging of PC software applications.
  • Develop methods, metrics, techniques, and evaluation criteria for products, processes, and staff.
Requirements:
  • University degree with 5 years of related experience or a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a high school diploma or relevant certificate in Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • Windows and Networked System software development experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in WEB programming.
  • Knowledge of C#.NET programming.
  • Strong coding skills in C++, C#.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming techniques and languages.
  • Design specifications, test plans, and structured design principles.
  • In-depth understanding of software analysis and design techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of wired and wireless communications protocols, networking protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Studio 2010.
  • Knowledge of C/C++.
  • Languages: French and English.
