About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cable Television Installation Technician to join our team at HAPPY DHALIWAL LOGISTIC LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, testing equipment to locate transmission faults, and completing and maintaining test and service reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment
  • Test equipment to locate transmission faults
  • Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports
  • Determine nature, cause, and location of trouble
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets
  • Determine work assignments
  • Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access
  • Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers
  • Repair or replace defective telephone equipment
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job with a permanent duration. The working language is English, and the working hours are 35 hours per week.
