Job Summary

HAPPY DHALIWAL LOGISTIC LTD. is seeking a skilled Cable Television Installation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, testing equipment to locate transmission faults, and completing and maintaining test and service reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including trunking systems, circuits, and equipment.
  • Equipment Testing: Test equipment to locate transmission faults and determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete and maintain test and service reports, and determine work assignments.
  • Cable Installation and Repair: Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access, and repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
  • Telephone Equipment Repair: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a variety of settings, including urban and rural areas. The successful candidate will be required to climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience.

  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
