About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Alhassan Construction Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to construct, repair, and install structures and fixtures.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments as required by the job.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a smooth and efficient construction process.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the carpentry trade.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a construction environment with exposure to dust, noise, and heights.
  • Wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and a safety vest as required by the job.
