Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Child Care Assistant to join our team at Crunch Fitness (CFC003) for weekend morning shifts. As a Child Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a friendly atmosphere for members and children
  • Register and check-out children and parents properly
  • Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times
  • Engage children in activities such as games, arts & crafts, and sports
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's needs
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and standards set by the club
  • Assist with club projects and events as needed

Requirements:
  • Maintain valid Child/Infant CPR certification
  • Experience working with children
  • Certifications as required by local/provincial laws
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods

Meetings and Training:
  • Annual Staff Meetings
  • Monthly Department Meetings
  • Employee Training Meetings

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion
  • Needs to be able to stand, bend, and squat with frequency
  • Able to climb and hang decorations when needed
