Environmental Project Manager/Scientist or Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager/Scientist or Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructure team at Parsons Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing contaminated sites and infrastructure projects, including investigations, remediation design, and excess soil planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in the design and project management of contaminated sites, remediation, and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments to CSA and O.Reg.153/04 requirements.
- Develop remedial design and site remediation plans, including excavations, ISCO, bioremediation, and mechanical technologies.
- Manage excess soil and waste on infrastructure projects, contributing to planning and design inputs as per O.Reg. 406/19.
- Peer review technical documents and reports.
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation on major and minor pursuits.
- Manage project finances, track budgets, and prepare reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in earth sciences, environmental/chemical/geological engineering, or similar programs.
- 5+ years of consulting experience at an engineering firm with strong experience in federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations within a Canadian (preferably Ontario) jurisdiction.
- 2+ years managing contaminated sites projects with consulting values over $100K and/or as a project manager or technical designer.
- Technically strong with advanced knowledge of environmental site assessments, excess oil planning, and various remediation approaches.
- Experience working with diverse multidiscipline and/or international project teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Financially literate from a project management perspective.
- Track record of delivering high-quality work products.
