Estimated Salary: CAD 40,000 - CAD 50,000 per year

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies that enhance our brand awareness and attract new students.



Responsibilities:

  • Act as spokesperson for the organization, effectively communicating our mission and values to various stakeholders;
  • Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies that align with our business objectives;
  • Answer written and oral inquiries from potential students and provide them with accurate information about our programs;
  • Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other materials that showcase our college's achievements;
  • Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions that increase our visibility in the community;
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to gather insights that inform our marketing decisions;
  • Gather, research, and prepare communications material that supports our marketing campaigns;
  • Initiate and maintain contact with the media to secure press coverage and promote our brand;
  • Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions that engage our audience;
  • Prepare sports, literary, performance, or other contracts that support our marketing efforts;
  • Supervise a team of up to 10 people who assist with various aspects of marketing and communications;


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate must also be able to work overtime when required.
