Job Title: Inventory Control Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at 6709222 CANADA LIMITEE. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accurate and efficient tracking of stock levels, and coordinating with various departments to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and production teams to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, inventory movements, and cycle counts.
  • Develop and implement procedures for receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
  • Provide training and guidance to inventory staff on inventory management procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and may be required to work overtime as needed.
