Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Jonathan Munez, Genalyn Munez. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and dust-free environment.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Provide basic information on facilities to clients and staff.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure.
  • Repetitive tasks and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding work and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
Work Environment:
  • Apartment/condominium complex, urban area, office building, commercial building, private residence, and recreational facility/institution.
Language:
  • English.
Work Hours:
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.

We offer a permanent position with a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. This position does not require Canadian work experience.
