Job Title: Janitorial Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Mindanao General Contracting Services Ltd. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, and clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that all areas are secure and safe, and report any incidents or concerns to management.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
