About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Studies Engineer – Renewable Energy to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting various stages of project execution, including proposals, onsite surveys, and analyses of industrial power systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out engineering projects in power system studies with a focus on renewable energy.
  • Conduct onsite testing for renewable energy generation facilities.
  • Perform validation studies of PSS/E models.
  • Assist in NERC compliance studies.
  • Perform system analyses with specialized software in the power systems industry.
  • Draft and review high-quality technical reports.
  • Share technical knowledge with colleagues and younger engineers.
  • Lead proposals and projects in power systems.
Requirements
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least seven years of experience in the power systems industry.
  • Available for short- and long-term work assignments at client sites in Canada.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Knowledge of system simulation software.
