About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team specializing in renewable energy projects. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for designing high- and medium-voltage substations and collector systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design high- and medium-voltage substations and collector systems
- Participate in computer-aided design of plans (2D and 3D)
- Perform design calculations and technical information surveys
- Monitor contractors on site and help commission and troubleshoot systems
- Participate in project conceptual studies and prepare lists of materials, cables, and specifications
Requirements
- Diploma of vocational studies in Building or Industrial Design or a diploma of college studies in Mechanical, Architectural, or Electrical Engineering
- At least five years of experience as a 2D and 3D designer
- Proficient with AutoCAD and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Project, and Excel)
- Available to travel to client sites and offices
- Asset: Bilingual (English and French)
