Work Site EnvironmentThe successful candidate will be required to work outdoors and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis; however, this is not a condition of employment.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
- Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors
- Dusting furniture
- Vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- Making beds and changing sheets
- Laundering clothing and household linens
- Washing windows, walls, and ceilings
- Cleaning changing rooms and showers
To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience as an asset. Education is not a requirement, but it is preferred if you have a certificate or diploma. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively in English.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is estimated to be around $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience. The Tharani Family offers optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis. Other benefits may include meal allowance or other incentives.
Language and Work TermThis is an English language position with a temporary work term. The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week.
