Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Compassion Homcare. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, taking into account any dietary requirements or restrictions
  • Assist with medication management, as required
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to our clients and their families
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • or equivalent experience
  • Certificate of Conduct
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Reference required
Work Environment:

Our Home Support Workers work in a variety of settings, including private homes, apartments, and community centers. You will be required to work independently, using your own initiative and judgment to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
