Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Compassion Homcare. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential support and care to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Assist with medication management, as required.
  • Provide emotional support and empathy to our clients, helping them to cope with challenging situations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Will train, but previous experience in a care-related field is an asset.
  • Certificate of Conduct and First Aid Certificate required.
  • Criminal record check and reference required.
Work Environment:

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
