Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Compassion Homcare. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential support and care to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Accompany clients on outings and activities, promoting socialization and engagement.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition, ensuring timely interventions and support.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Will train, with a focus on developing skills and knowledge in areas such as caregiving, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Certificate of Conduct and First Aid Certificate required.
  • Criminal record check and reference required.
Work Environment:

Our Home Support Workers work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. The work environment is non-smoking, and our team members are expected to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.
