We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Veterinary Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Alta Vista Animal Hospital. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care activities, including attending rounds, providing daily updates, and preparing discharge instructions.
- Manage communication between veterinarians, treatment staff, and clients, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care.
- Prepare and maintain accurate medical records, including updating invoicing and handling client inquiries.
- Assist with medication preparation, lab results, and referrals or transfers to other hospitals.
- Follow up with discharged patients and discuss financing options with clients.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; veterinary experience or certification preferred.
