The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental health & safety management within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs that meet corporate objectives, comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations, and promote sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and food safety regulations at all levels (local, provincial, federal).
- Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate or eliminate risks associated with food manufacturing processes.
- Develop and deliver training programs on safe work practices, emergency response, PPE usage, environmental compliance, food safety protocols, and sustainability practices.
