High-Tech Security Specialist

As a Service Technician at the Mircom Group of Companies, you will be responsible for performing complex technical tasks in the security industry.
About UsMircom is North America's largest independent designer, manufacturer, and distributor of intelligent building and life safety solutions. Our portfolio includes fire detection & alarm, communications & security, mass notification, nurse call, and building automation & smart technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Install, program, verify, and inspect CCTV, access control, and intercom systems, as well as other security equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on Mircom and non-Mircom products.
- Complete inspection reports in a timely manner.
- Provide technical support to customers as needed.
- Offer operational training to end-users.
- Ensure our customers and end-users have a positive experience working with Mircom.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Service Technician in the Security industry.
- An electronics diploma or equivalent from an accredited college/university, or documented trade qualification.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 50lbs and climb ladders.
- Possession of a valid and clean motor vehicle license (Class G).
