About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Security Specialist to join our team. This role involves access control within and out of the facilities, reporting or investigating irregularities, and monitoring patient safety. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical issues, hazardous materials, and other breaches of security;
  • Report all incidents as per specific site regulations;
  • Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance;
Requirements
  • A valid Alberta Security license (or the ability to obtain one);
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills while remaining professional with a tactful demeanor;
  • The ability to perform under pressure and in adversity;
  • Ability to walk 18/20km and stairs;
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $**55,000 - $65,000 per year**, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
