Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain agricultural equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Load and unload trucks coming to and from the fertilizer plant, ensuring safe and timely delivery of products.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of the fertilizer plant to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Adhere to safety standards and fall protection practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the Fertilizer Plant Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and satisfaction.
  • Participate in maintaining the location's image and housekeeping standards to ensure a positive and professional work environment.
  • Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, to meet the needs of our members.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work at heights without fear and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of production agriculture.
  • Valid class 1A driver's license and clean driver's abstract preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more unassisted.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with an agricultural background.
