About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at HI LIGHT DRYWALL LTD. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and maintain a high-quality finish.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet project requirements.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure a stable structure.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry to achieve a professional finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installer, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in drywall installation or a related field.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability to meet project deadlines.
