Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis on various Parks and Recreation and Cultural Service matters.
- Develop and implement study and strategy processes.
- Collect and analyze data, and prepare reports summarizing findings.
- Assist in formulating policies, park planning documents, and recommendations.
- Prepare reports for presentation to senior management.
- Liaise with various stakeholders and contacts.
- Participate in committees and meetings as required.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients.
Qualifications include a University degree in Urban Geography, Planning, or a related discipline, plus sound related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Considerable knowledge of department policy, procedures, rules, and regulations related to the work performed, as well as departmental resources and related community interests and needs.
A valid Driver's License for the province of British Columbia is required.
Rate of Pay: $5,957 – 6,200 – 6,460 – 6,730 – 7,011/month
