About the Role:

The Reliability Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of Ferrero's Brantford Plant components, equipment, and processes. This position will be responsible for guaranteeing equipment and machinery value, performing component breakdown analysis, and identifying root causes of potential issues. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating statistical analysis, charts, and drawings, as well as updating, cascading, and consolidating Ferrero group Maintenance policies.

Main Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to provide economic and quantitative impacts on maintenance budget due to new or updated maintenance policies.

• Manage maintenance activities to ensure compliance with IAS code for investments and proper asset depreciation.

• Collaborate with Finance on investment assets management and ensure alignment with maintenance processes.

• Lead weekly and monthly maintenance meetings to discuss targets, KPIs, breakdown analysis, PM reviews, and maintenance planning and scheduling processes.

• Define guidelines for maintenance policies, including frequency of tasks, in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Coordinator.

• Collect and analyze equipment performance and failure data with the Maintenance Coordinator and Maintenance Manager.

• Define machine breakdown logic and physical layout hierarchy for equipment, including cost centers structure.

• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to define auto-maintenance potential application scope.

• Ensure the updating, sharing, classifying, and storage of machine books, manuals, technical documentation, and technical drawings.

Requirements:


• Minimum University degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant industry experience, specifically in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong technical background in Maintenance and Engineering.

• Demonstrated experience in coordinating activities across cross-functional areas.

• Flexible to accept and prioritize multiple challenges and quick changes in priorities.

• Proven hands-on problem-solving and project management skills.

• Strong understanding of equipment design and function.

• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and other relevant food safety and environment regulations is an asset.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to make suggestions and implement improvements.

• Knowledge and experience with Lean Management.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Understanding of Design programs, such as AutoCAD.

• Knowledge of SAP.
