Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Solutions Architect to join our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development of Lenovo RAID/HBA products and solutions with our partners. This role will involve supporting the design, development, and debug of new RAID/HBA subsystem solutions and ensuring their successful implementation throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the server platform engineering team to implement and design solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Lead the debug of complex issues and conduct root cause investigations to ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage lab hardware setup and configuration, as well as site-to-site shipments and tracking.
  • Work closely with our worldwide team in a dynamic environment to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HW/FW/DD Design of Storage and Server subsystems.
  • Prior Storage industry experience with RAID/HBA technology.
  • At least 1 year of experience with PCIe/NVMe, SAS, SATA protocols.
  • Previous Protocol analyzer experience.
  • Experience with Hardware and Storage debug.
  • Proficient in Linux/Windows/VMWare Operating systems.
  • Knowledge of HW Development processes.
  • Knowledge of Server technologies including HW, UEFI, BMC architecture.
