As a Data Science Analyst in our esteemed team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our continuous model monitoring (CMM) framework. This framework is designed to assess the performance and effectiveness of our model risk management framework.
In this position, you will collaborate with our Team Manager to design and implement metrics aimed at monitoring model performance within your scope of expertise. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you analyze the results of these metrics and breach management procedures. You will also ensure the quality and consistency of data across various systems and tools used by our model risk management team.
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in quantitative fields such as Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Engineering, or Mathematics. A Bachelor's degree is required, but a Master's degree is preferred. At least two years of experience in model development, validation, or front-office quant roles is essential. Proficiency in programming languages like Python and SQL, as well as knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and Microsoft Power BI, is crucial. Experience working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis is also necessary.
You should have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to convey complex ideas effectively. Familiarity with model risk management practices and US regulatory requirements is a plus. As a collaborative team member, you will work closely with front-office staff, model developers, validators, IT services, and risk managers to review metrics and contribute to remediation efforts.
Our company offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including minimum 20 vacation days and 4 personal days, we provide supportive maternity, paternity, parental, and adoption leave policies. Health spending and personal spending accounts, as well as fully sponsored virtual healthcare assistance, are also part of our offerings. We strive to create a hybrid work environment that balances flexibility and collaboration, allowing our employees to work remotely and on-site.
