Relief Custodian

The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Relief Security/Custodial Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our campus buildings and premises.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and care for facilities and equipment, including regular rounds to check for safety or security irregularities
- Notify proper authorities in the event of a potential risk or hazard
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the health, safety, and security of students, staff, and members of the public
- Perform tasks with minimal supervision and work well in a team environment
- Previous related experience as a Security/Custodial/Maintenance worker
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Basic First Aid Certification and Fire Safety Certification (asset)
This is a Relief position with no established hours of work on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. You may be required to report to work on an as-and-when-required basis for facilities where services operate on a daily basis throughout the entire year.
