Job Summary

The Relief Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our school facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our schools are healthy, safe, and sanitary environments for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and care for school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols
  • Work effectively under minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and visitors
  • Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
  • Grade 10 education and related experience
  • Completion of a WHMIS course
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
