Job Title: Sales Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Supervisor to join our team at IGA 16. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that our store meets its sales and customer service goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their tasks
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that customers have access to the products they need
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, including scheduling and timekeeping
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to sales associates to help them improve their performance
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
Work Environment:

The Sales Supervisor will work in a supermarket/grocery store environment, which is non-smoking and air-conditioned. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and will be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Transportation/Travel Information:

The Sales Supervisor will be required to use their own transportation to travel to and from work.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Sales Supervisor will be required to stand for long periods of time and to walk frequently. The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail and will be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Personal Suitability:

The Sales Supervisor will be required to have excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and a team player.
