Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional and friendly service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist guests with informative and helpful responses, providing them with a positive experience.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and service standards, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage items, including menu offerings and preparation methods.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols when handling food and beverages, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for guests.
  • Serve food and beverages, clear tables, and return equipment to designated areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintain safety in service corridors by keeping areas clear to comply with local fire codes.
  • Manage catering equipment and linens responsibly, ensuring they are properly stored and maintained.
  • Address spills and breakages promptly, minimizing disruptions and maintaining a positive experience for guests.
  • Assist with the arrangement and movement of tables and chairs as needed, ensuring a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
  • Report any issues or complaints to department leaders, providing them with accurate and timely information.
  • Ensure proper handling, use, and storage of all equipment, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Oversee room setups and teardowns, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Serving It Right certificate
  • Previous service experience an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
