Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our client's home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Perform tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, dry/wet mopping, scrubbing, sanitizing/disinfecting floors, and dusting.
  • Collect and sort laundry, following specific instructions for treatment of soiled linens.
  • Wash and dry laundry, sorting personal clothing and delivering it to the appropriate units.
  • Ensure the privacy of residents during performance of duties.
  • Adhere to established company policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, and safety.
Requirements
  • Considerable lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, moving equipment, and climbing ladders.
  • Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to read and write English and follow simple written and verbal instructions in English.
