Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the casino facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning and sanitation activities for public and employee areas
  • Clean building floors, furniture, fixtures and any equipment
  • Service, clean, and provide supplies to restrooms
  • Practice safe work procedures and health and safety policies ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education
  • Experience in the related field of one (1) or more years
  • Proven high level of Customer Service
  • Organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
  • The ability to work evenings, weekends and shift work
  • The ability to lift, push, pull and move house cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Good physical fitness to maintain a constant pace of manual work
  • General knowledge of cleanliness and sanitation
  • The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
