Process Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empower the process team by setting expectations and objectives through the implementation of operating plans, procedures, and programs.
  • Cultivate a positive safety culture and ensure team members comply with company policies to perform duties and responsibilities in a satisfactory manner.
  • Provide ongoing communication, coaching, feedback, and mentoring to Process Operators.
  • Prepare and conduct performance reviews for team members.
  • Coordinate process staffing schedules during night shifts and weekends.

Team Collaboration:

You will work closely with Process Operators and Process Supervisors, leading a team of up to 10 Process Operators and reporting to the Section (Zone) Supervisor. This team strives to cultivate a culture of efficiency, safety, and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • A Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of one year of post-secondary training/technical training. Power Engineering certification (minimum 4th class) is considered a strong asset.
  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, plus 6 years of experience within an industrial or production environment (a combined 8+ years of relevant, progressively responsible experience). A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
  • A Class 5 driver's license in good standing.
  • On-scene Commander Training and Fire Brigade Leader Certificate are preferred.
