Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to lead our financial planning and analysis processes across the Operations and Quality function. The successful candidate will provide financial guidance, prepare management analysis, and support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Oversee and manage all aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual planning, including P&L, headcount, balance sheet, and capital using planning systems.
    • Partner with business teams to propose solutions to achieve budget within guidelines and operate within approved budget.
  • Variance Analysis and Reporting
    • Provide relevant variance analysis for each planning cycle.
    • Develop meaningful management reporting schedules and ensure accuracy and predictability of results and key metrics.
  • Accounting and Financial Support
    • Support the Accounting Shared Service monthly close process to ensure complete, accurate, and timely monthly actual results.
    • Prepare and review meaningful monthly management reporting packages with business teams.
  • Business Support and Collaboration
    • Collaborate with business teams to provide routine business support and enable informed decision-making.
    • Provide financial reviews and approvals for purchase order requests and invoices.
  • Process Improvement and Leadership
    • Support key projects and initiatives, such as planning system standardization, management reporting, and optimization.
    • Drive process improvements and support ad-hoc analysis as required.
  • Team Leadership
    • Develop and manage staff to ensure production of high-quality and timely work products.
    • Directly manage staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
    • CPA or MBA a plus.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 7+ years of progressive and related experience.
  • Skills
    • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Self-starter with ability to operate independently, drive processes, identify and implement process improvements, establish and adjust priorities to achieve objectives, and operate with speed and agility.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of management, including the ability to listen well and influence others who do not report directly.
    • Proficient Excel skills.
    • Knowledge of SAP and BPC a plus.
    • Previous supervisory experience desired.
