Job Description

FCC Construcción is seeking a skilled Construction Coordinator to join its team on the Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations project in downtown Toronto, ON. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction activities related to the assigned station and ensuring compliance with the project agreement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Create scope of work and initiate procurement processes for necessary agreements and supply chains.
  • Provide contract administration, technical expertise, and support to civil works teams.
  • Track progress billing, cost reports, inventory, and quantity tracking for subcontractors.
  • Negotiate subcontracts, major purchase orders, and progress payments.
  • Enforce contract documents with subcontractors and manage risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare production, labour, and machinery reports for effective work control.

Requirements:
  • University, College, or Postgraduate Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction.
  • ~3+ years of construction experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience on large-scale railway and/or infrastructure projects is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications for underground structures.
  • Proficient computer skills – MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Gantt chart planning tools.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth. This position requires a daily presence in the office in downtown Toronto, ON.
