Job Description:

Outpost Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Project Management Coordinator - Infrastructure Specialist to join our client's team. This full-time permanent role offers an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their management skills and progress in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Management Coordinator - Infrastructure Specialist will assist the Commissioning Manager, Superintendent & Project Manager with project performance, primarily scheduling, time and material coordination, cost tracking and documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining steadfast relationships with project owners, consultants, suppliers and subtrades. Additionally, they will coordinate construction tasks, equipment and system commissioning activities and archive all documentation. Other key responsibilities include maintaining accurate and up-to-date RFI and RFQ logs, administering both, and logging and continuously maintaining contemporaneous records and daily photographs. The Project Management Coordinator - Infrastructure Specialist will also maintain accurate and up-to-date files for shop drawings, change orders & submittals, create drawings and mockups as required, and participate in basic layout and field engineering activities. Furthermore, they will prepare 'as built' drawings as required, manage and supervise site documentation, preventative maintenance and inspections associated with Occupational Health and Safety Program, and have primary responsibility in all facets of project close-out, including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiency management and tagging requirements.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related science, engineering or construction management discipline. A willingness and desire to learn, an unbending work ethic and flexibility to a range of working environments are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Word is required, with preference given to candidates with prior experience in CAD, Microsoft Project & Bluebeam REVU. Effective communication skills, both verbally and written, are necessary, along with a valid driver's license. The ideal candidate will have impeccable organizational skills, fervent attention to detail, and proven performance under pressure. Previous coordination experience with a large general contractor and knowledge of water/wastewater construction techniques, drawings and materials are preferred.

Salary:

We are offering a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
