We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to drive the development of long-term corporate plans and strategies in Calgary, Alberta.

This role involves developing policies, procedures, and standards to integrate technology into company operations, with a focus on modern IT architecture concepts. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience and possess a deep understanding of data management principles.

The successful candidate will provide expert technical leadership in developing the strategic direction for Data & IT architecture, standards, and principles. This includes advising the Enterprise Architecture team, assessing business/technical feasibility, and contributing to annual strategic architecture planning.

In this role, you will also be responsible for guiding delivery initiatives by contributing to the definition, implementation, and governance of enterprise Data & IT plans, policies, and standards. Additionally, you will serve as the company's technical authority as a Data & Information Architect, producing and sustaining strategies with supporting roadmaps that cover the data & information architecture domain.

To be successful in this position, you will require a University Degree in Applied Sciences (Engineering, Systems Design, Computer Sciences, or Business) or equivalent diploma with industry experience. A minimum of 5-10+ years of work experience involving modern data architecture, data management, or a related field is also required. Relevant certification such as TOGAF, ITAC, ITIL Foundations, DAMA CDMP or equivalent would be an asset.

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

This is a full-time, hybrid schedule position with at least 4 days in the office. It is NOT a remote role.
