About the Role

  • As an Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing architectural roadmaps, providing technical direction, and driving continual improvements to efficiency and flexibility.
  • With 8+ years of professional experience in software development/management, you will bring a deep understanding of software development in a team, as well as a track record of shipping software on time.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute short and long-term architectural roadmaps for the business, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide technical direction within your team, mentoring engineers to achieve their full potential.
  • Drive continual improvements to the efficiency and flexibility of the business platform, maintaining an extremely high bar for customer trust, performance, and availability.
  • Leverage your expertise in computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design, to inform technical decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education).
  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development/management.
  • Deep hands-on technical expertise in TypeScript, NodeJS, DevOps, GCP, CloudRun, MySQL, PHP/Laravel, ReactJS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Estimated Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000 per annum
