About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Schlegel Villages. As a key member of our Village team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support and care to residents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to understand residents' individual needs and preferences.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene care, basic nursing care, and companionship.
  • Identify and report any changes in residents' well-being to the Registered Practical Nurse or Charge Nurse.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid PSW Certificate that meets the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities, the National Association of Career Colleges, or the Ontario Community Support Association.
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and team members.
  • Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the PSW role.
