About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Consultant to join our team at SimCorp. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will play a crucial role in the expansion of our market unit in a strategic vertical.

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with our clients' end-users, including portfolio managers, traders, and compliance teams, to design and deliver solutions that meet their specific needs. You will own specific work streams of the project plan and act as a trusted advisor to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead major parts of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects, ensuring that customer requirements are met and solutions are optimized for the buy-side industry.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to develop and execute projects to success.
  • Prepare requirement specifications for enhancements to our product management.
  • Identify opportunities to offer tailored services beyond the project scope to our customers.
  • Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects.
  • Actively participate in know-how exchange with colleagues on an international level.
Requirements
  • Proven track record as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks, or consulting firms.
  • Portfolio management experience, including analysis and optimization for investment decision-making.
  • Trading and order management expertise.
  • Compliance, regulatory, and internal restrictions knowledge.
  • Performance measurement and attribution skills.
  • Risk management experience, including market and liquidity risk.
  • Regulatory topics, such as Solvency II.
  • Experience with implementing and configuring financial software, ideally SimCorp Dimension.
  • High degree of commercial awareness, customer orientation, and quality consciousness.
