Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and understanding schematics/blueprints and fabricating metal parts/structures according to customer requests. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn, a team player, and a positive company ambassador.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints/drawings/sketches to fit parts together within tolerance
  • Operate brake, shear, and saw equipment
  • Weld to CWB standards (MIG)
  • Polish and finish welds
  • Assist with shop projects, including maintenance
  • Fabricate various jobs/projects
  • Knowledge of GMP guidelines and practices
  • Conduct quality control checks
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product development teams
  • Accurately complete daily paperwork
  • Represent the company professionally, adhering to our values
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-4 years of fabrication experience
  • MIG welding experience on mild steel
  • Proven ability to remove barriers and achieve goals
  • Team-oriented mindset, prioritizing collaboration and success
  • Ability to identify errors and potential issues
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and conditions
  • Clear and effective communication skills

Assets

  • Metal Fabricator/Fitter 437A or equivalent
  • CWB tickets considered a strong asset
